Card Rooms Rules and Regulations
Eligibility
- The Card Room is reserved for members only. Guests may be permitted as per the rules of NMMG.
Fees
- The entry fee for members is ₹75. For guests, the fee is ₹350 on weekdays and ₹450 on weekends
Hours of Operation
- The Card Room is open from 2:30 pm to 11 pm on weekdays and on weekends 2:30 pm to 12 am. Members must vacate the room at the closing time.
Respectful Behavior
- All members and members’ guest are expected to maintain a respectful attitude towards fellow players. Any form of disruptive behavior, including loud arguing, verbal abuse, or unsportsmanlike conduct, will not be tolerated.
No Outside Food or Drinks
- For the comfort of all members, no outside food or drinks are allowed in the Card Room. Snacks and beverages are available at the clubhouse for purchase. Please refrain from bringing personal items into the room.
Cleanliness
- Please keep the Card Room clean at all times. Dispose of waste in the designated bins. If you notice any mess or spill, kindly inform the staff.
Age Limit
- The Card Room is open to members aged 21 years of age and above. Members below the specified age are not permitted to enter.
Tobacco and Smoking
- Smoking and the use of tobacco products are strictly prohibited inside the Card Room. Designated smoking areas are available outside. Additionally, the use of gutkha and spitting are strictly prohibited within the Card Room. Any individual found violating these rules will be asked to vacate the Card Room immediately
Mobile Phones
- Use of mobile phones within the Card Room should be kept to a minimum. Phones should be on silent or vibrate mode. Please refrain from making loud calls or playing media in the room.
Personal Belongings
- Members are responsible for their personal belongings. The Gymkhana is not liable for any lost or stolen items.
Noise Levels
- Keep noise levels to a minimum. Remember, the Card Room is a space for relaxation and enjoyment for all members
Management's Authority
- The Management and card committee members reserves the right to ask any member to leave the Card Room or the premises immediately in case of violation of any of the above rules and regulations. Persistent violations may lead to further disciplinary action, including suspension of membership.
